What can I say - everyone knows dealing with a cat can be quite a difficult experience. My cat Sugarface included!!!

Needless to say, Sug is a feral cat and very skittish. Whenever we have company, she just runs and hides. I also did not want Sug on my lap often because of her claws. Who wants to be scratched?

I was amazed when Sug took to Barb immediately. She acted as if Barb was her owner.

When Barb brought out the brush and nail clippers, I thought Sug would just freak out. Instead Sugarface laid there as Barb brushed her and when Sug extended her claws to have Barb clip them, I thought I was going to drop to the floor! Amazing!

All I can say is Barb is wonderful with animals and they know it. Thanks Barb - I have been enjoying Sugarface on my lap and letting me be able to pet her without the fear of her claws!

I can’t say enough good things about our pet’s groomer, Barb, at Petskleen !

I searched out groomers like most people would  search for an individual to entrust with the care of their “human” child !

I found Barb by a stroke of luck five years ago, and have been seeing her on a regular basis since then... and I mean regular ! We have our cocker spaniel, Oliver groomed every 5-6 weeks and also have a couple of persian cats who are “regulars” as well (Lizzie and Maggie Mae). 

Not everyone is a great with cats !  We learned that for sure with one our “kids” TC (who has since passed on) who NEVER wanted a comb near him.  We had tried a couple of different groomers in the past..but TC was “challenging” not the most pleasant demeanor when it was time for a combing.   At one time we were told that TC most definitely stood for Terrible Cat ! NOT our baby! Barb offered to attempt to groom him and though she sometimes had to sport a band aid or two, continued to work with him (including hugs in between combing) and kept him looking like a handsome boy! 

If you are a client of Barb’s you and your pet become part of her extended family.  Her love of animals shows in all aspects of her work.  She is not just the person who gives your “kids” a bath and a haircut ... she is concerned about their well being and  makes them feel safe, comfortable,  and loved while they are in her care.    

Anytime I meet someone with a pet who is as “obsessive” as I am, the first thing I recommend is taking them to Barb for their grooming needs. 

Barb you are absolutely wonderful !!!

I absolutely love Petskleen and won’t take my dog (a rough-coated border collie) anywhere else!  I have tried other places (the big box chain stores) in the past and when I would pick up my dog, he would be stressed out and I wasn’t happy with how his coat would look.  I was at my wits’ end when a friend recommended I try Petskleen.
